BENTON–Two people were injured in Friday crash in Butler County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Mazda driven by Monica Walton, 50, Quail Valley, CA., was southbound on Butler Road just west of Benton.

The vehicle was attempting to cross K254 and struck a westbound 2014 Toyota driven by Roy E. Tucker, 81, El Dorado. The Toyota left the road and overturned.

Tucker and a passenger in the Toyota Gwendolyn Tucker, 78, El Dorado were transported to Wesley Medical Center.

Walton and two children in the Mazda were not injured.
The KHP reported all were properly restrained.
