Police are looking for a car stolen from an automotive repair shop Wednesday morning.

Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney said the car was taken from Bill’s Truck & Auto at 615 Bishop around 7:30am.

Someone walked into the business and took keys to a 2002 Chrysler 300 4-door blue in color. The car had just been repaired and is valued at $2,500. The owner of the car is Teresa Phil of Falun. The license plate number is Kansas 546-AMK.

A Salina woman is arrested Wednesday on charges of forgery and theft.

24-year-old Lynnea Cook stole a personal check from Melvin VonFange while visiting his home on March 16th and cashing it at Speedy Cash 1220 W. Crawford the same day.

The amount of the check was for $589.
