SALINA—Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney said they have apprehended a male suspect for a note that was written today at Central High School

The note contained a bomb threat for both Central and South High Schools.

Sweeney said he is certain there is no threat at either school. An investigation continues.

No name has been released.

The Salina Post contacted, Jennifer Bradford-Vernon,Public Information Director of USD 305 Salina Public Schools.

She stated, “Today, a note was received at Central High School alleging a threat at Central and South High Schools. It was quickly determined that there was no danger. The person involved was identified and turned over to law enforcement.”
