A Salina man is arrested for taking property from his father and then pawning the items.

27-year-old Evan Peryer is alleged to have taken nearly $4,000 in items belonging to his father Louis Peryer, between March 14th and May 12th from the family home in the 1800 block of Christy.

Among the items taken were jewelry, tools, and electronics.

Evan Peryer is then alleged to have gone to different pawn shops in Salina and sold the items.

Requested charges include felony theft, theft by deception,and making a false writing.
