A 30-year-old Salina man is arrested Wednesday after trying to cash two business checks that were stolen in a business burglary earlier this spring.

William Kelley is alleged to have tried to cash checks written on the closed account of Jack Parr and Associates. The account was closed after several checks were taken in the burglary.

On April 29th, UMB Bank and Pay Day Cash both refused to cash the checks. Requested charges against Kelley include forgery and attempted theft.
