The Salina Bombers were able to overcome a pesky Omaha Beef team in Salina, 50-43 in overtime.
The Bombers defense led the way in overtime with linebacker Vernon Brooks grabbing 2 interceptions in overtime. Keithen Valentine scored the winning touchdown on a 9 yard carry set up by Zac McClains big 18 yard reception. Austin Ledy added the point after touchdown kick.
Salina (8-3) will head to Wichita to play the Wild next Saturday, June 7th at 7:05 pm.
Wichita defeated Sioux City tonight, 59-54.
