The Salina Police Department and Saline County Sheriff’s Office will have additional officers out looking for drivers under the influence Thursday evening and Friday evening.

Thursday evening the Salina Police Department will have DUI checkpoints at two different locations in Salina from 10pm until 2am Friday morning.

Then on Friday evening into Saturday morning, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a DUI checkpoint.

Funding for the checkpoints come from the Impaired Driver Deterrence Program grant.
