Stimmel Road from Reese Road to Brownhill Road was closed Tuesday June 17th to through traffic to permit a crew from Saline County Road & Bridge to perform maintenance work on a drainage structure located approximately one-half mile west of Reese Road.

It is anticipated that all construction activity will be completed on or before Wednesday June 25th, and the road reopened to traffic. Of course, completion of the project by this date is dependent on the weather.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and allow a few extra minutes of travel time to reach their destinations. Local and emergency traffic will be provided access to private properties within the closed section of Stimmel Road at all times but only from the side of the closed structure that their properties lies upon.
