Police investigate kidnapping and aggravated battery

salina pd badgeA 34-year-old woman tells police she was held against her will at a north Salina home last week.

On Thursday night just after 10pm August 14th, Police were dispatched to the area of Harold and Haskett to a medical emergency.

They found the woman walking along the street, who had sustained injuries. The woman told officers she had been held against her will at a home in the 700 block of N. Front between August 10th, and August 14th.

The woman said she had been beaten and punched over a three day period, and at times lost consciousness. It’s not known how the woman was able to leave the home, and how she wound up in the southwest part of town.

She was taken to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment of bruising over most of her body, a cuts on a shoulder and back. Captain Mike Sweeney said police are looking for a known suspect.
