1:50 p.m.  With the help of the Kansas Highway Patrol, Saline County Sheriff’s Deputies and other law enforcement officials, a suspect involved in the Monday’s reported stolen vehicle, pursuit, and accident has been taken into custody.

SALINA- Law enforcement officials and additional first responders have been dispatched to report of an injury accident possibly involving a stolen vehicle and police pursuit near Gypsum Valley and Country Club. The vehicle is on its top in the nearby creek.

The search for a suspect is underway. The Kansas Highway Patrol is bringing in a dog to help locate the suspect.
