Douglas Williams was arrested in a N. Salina home on September 2nd for battering a female during a domestic disturbance.

Williams allegedly battered the female as she was holding her baby girl who was under one year old. It is also reported that Williams withheld her cellphone so she could not call the police.

An acquaintance of the woman notified police after finding out about the incident on the 3rd. They found Williams hiding underneath a mattress when they went to arrest him.

Williams is being charged with Aggravated Intimidation of a Witness, Aggravated Endangerment of a Child, Criminal Resistance and Interference of Law Enforcement Officer.
