Niles Road from Ottawa Road to Riordan Road will be closed Wednesday September 10th in the morning to through traffic to permit a crew from APAC-Kansas, Inc., Shears Division to place an asphalt overlay. It is anticipated that all construction activity will be completed on or before Friday, September 12th, and the road reopened to traffic. Of course, completion of the project by this date is dependent on the weather.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and allow a few extra minutes of travel time to reach their destinations. Local and emergency traffic will be provided access to private properties within the closed section of Niles Road at all times but only from the side of the moving work zone that their properties lies upon.
