Salina Police are looking for a known suspect in an aggravated assault case. Officers were called to the Chapel Ridge Apartments just before 4:30 Monday afternoon on the report of a disturbance.

Captain Mike Sweeney said a 43-year-old man was threatened by a man who was in a verbal disturbance with a woman. The suspect noticed the man was watching the disturbance, and the suspect approached the man twice swinging a knife at him.

The man was not hurt, and the suspect left the area, before officers arrived.

In addition to the aggravated assault charge, the suspect could face additional charges including aggravated intimidation of a witness, battery, and criminal threats.
