At approximately 1:55 pm there was a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Eaglecrest Ave and River Trail Rd. One of the two vehicles ended up in the lawn of a house on the corner of the intersection.

Once the fire department was on the scene they did help one woman out of her vehicle who was trapped, she was taken to the hospital. There was airbag deployment, no information is available as to if airbags in both vehicles were deployed or if it was just one.
