Five Kansas Lottery Players Have Each Won Premium Angus Beef Prize Packages

TOPEKA, KAN. – Five lucky Kansas Lottery players have each won a Munson Premium Angus Beef prize package in the first Beef & Bucks second-chance drawing held today at Lottery headquarters in Topeka.

The five winners are:

Terra Morehead of Kansas City, Kan.

Mary Ann Yoder of Tonganoxie

Donna Bunch of Cuba

Bret Grider of Emporia

Betty Baker of Leavenworth

Each prize package consists of a side of beef.  In addition to the Munson Premium Angus Beef, each winner will also receive $2,000 cash, plus all applicable initial mandatory state and federal income withholding taxes.  The total value of each prize package is approximately $5,000.  There were approximately 34,000 entries in today’s drawing.

A second Beef & Bucks drawing will take place on June 17 in which five winners will also win Munson Premium Angus Beef prize packages.  To become eligible for the next drawing, players should mail non-winning $2 Beef & Bucks tickets to the address indicated on the back of the tickets.  Tickets may also be deposited into any receptacle specifically designated by the Lottery, including those at the Lottery offices in Topeka or Great Bend.

Beef & Bucks is a “Made in Kansas” game in which the Lottery has partnered with Munson Premium Angus Beef, located in Junction City.  Munson has a long history of providing gourmet beef products from its own corn fed, ranch raised, purebred Black Angus herd.
