Museum Has New Extended Hours

SalinaPost(8)Have you been trying to get to the Museum, but between work and busy weekends there is just no time? Well, fret no more. The Smoky Hill Museum has new extended weekday hours. Starting October 1, the Museum and Museum Store will stay open until 6 pm Tuesdays through Fridays.

“Everyone has such busy schedules, we just wanted to give them a little extra time to enjoy the Museum,” says Museum Director Susan Hawksworth.

The new hours for the Museum are Tuesdays through Fridays 12-6 pm, Saturdays 10-5 pm and Sundays 1-5 pm. And remember, Museum admission is always FREE! So come on in and check out our wonderful exhibits and the great made-in-Kansas items available in the store.

The Smoky Hill Museum is a nationally accredited history museum, in the heart of downtown Salina, Kansas. This FREE museum is openTuesdayFriday 12-6, Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 1-5. Also, be sure to stop by the Museum Store for a wide variety of regional and Kansas products, local artwork and gifts for all ages.
