UPDATE: The puppy that was stolen from a front yard in the 300th block of North 11th St. was reunited with its family today. The suspect in the theft of the dog came back to Dollar General with the puppy and the Salina P.D. were called to the scene.

ORIGINAL:A two and a half month old Papillon and Dachshund mix was reported stolen from a yard in the 300th block of North 11th St. She was stolen at approximately 3:30 pm on the 16th of October.

The owner of the puppy made contact with two individuals who work at Dollar General on Santa Fe who claimed they had information on the puppy. The two employees said that a tall black man came in with the puppy and was boasting about taking the puppy from a yard. It is also being reported that he had on what appeared to be diamond rings.
