Two women were arrested Sunday afternoon following an altercation where a third woman had her cell phone destroyed and a pinky finger broken.
Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney said 29-year-old Deedra Reidel was hurt while in her car in the 800 block of N.12th around 2pm, during an argument.
31-year-old Michelle Richardson allegedly knocked the Reidel’s sunglasses off causing scratches to her face.
35-year-old Jeanine Richardson told Reidel to get out of the car, and when she would not, Richardson allegedly grabbed for the car keys, which led to the broken pinky finger. When Reidel tried to call police, her cell phone was taken away from her and one of the women smashed it with her foot.
The victim received treatment for her injuries at Salina Regional Health Center.
Both Michelle Richardson and Jeanine Richardson were arrested a few hours later.
