A citizens tip Sunday evening leads to the discovery of a small one pot meth lab underneath a bridge over the old Smoky Hill River Channel in Salina.
Lt. Jim Norton, Task Force Commander of the I-135/I-70 Drug Task Force said someone called police about 8:45 pm Sunday evening to say they found what they thought was a meth lab underneath the bridge over the river channel at Front and Walnut on the east side of bridge.
Norton said the process of making the meth wasn’t complete, so the final product wasn’t finished. Norton said the Task Force is hopeful pulling fingerprints off of the lab might lead to the suspects who made the lab.
