Salina Police have taken a report from a woman that claims she suffered hearing loss after being battered by a man she was in a relationship with.
The woman claims, that around February 20th, she was beaten and thrown up against a washing machine by the man who also allegedly stepped on her throat not allowing her to breathe. She also claims that on a second occasion – while in a car, the man slapped her twice causing her to lose hearing in one ear.
The woman made a report to police Wednesday after learning she had damage to her inner ear.
Police are investigating and an arrest has not been made.
