The Saline County Road And Bridge Department announced the reopening of a couple of county roads Wednesday.

Forsse Road, from Hedberg Road to Summit Road was reopened late Wednesday afternoon following completion of the replacement of the existing bridge over an unnamed tributary of West Dry Creek located 0.25 mile south on the blacktop road from the Town of Falun. It’s completion is well ahead of schedule as the contract allowed the contractor until June 1, 2011.

Kipp Road, from Riordan Road to Shipton Road was reopened late Wednesday following completion of the replacement of a drainage structure with a new reinforced concrete box culvert (RCB). The RCB is 0.25 mile north of Shipton Road and is over an unnamed tributary of the Solomon River
