MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State head coach Bruce Weber announced today freshman forward Malek Harris has been dismissed from the men’s basketball program. 

“We have high standards for the players in our program,” said Weber. “Unfortunately, Malek could not live up to those expectations. We wish him the best as he continues his basketball career.”

A 6-foot-8, 215-pound guard from Orland Park, Illinois, Harris averaged 2.1 points and 1.9 rebounds per game in 27 games as a true freshman in 2014-15.
