A 35 year old Salina man is jailed on outstanding warrants and aggravated indecent liberties with a child following an incident Monday evening in west-central Salina.

Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney says that a 6 year old boy and his 12 year old brother had been riding their bikes in the area of 9th and Charles about 7 pm, when the younger boy got off his bike and began pushing it.

Sweeney says that Chad Bishop of 636 S. 9th is alleged to have grabbed the six year old by the arm, and kissed him on his left cheek three times before apologizing, and left.

The boys told their parents who called police, and in talking to neighbors went to Bishop’s home, where they found him inside his bedroom nude and intoxicated.

He was then taken to the Saline County Jail.
