
SALINA –Heavy rain fell in Saline County and across central Kansas on Thursday night and Friday morning.
The storm front resulted in 3.38 inches of measurable precipitation in central Saline County. Over 2 inches of rain is reported in northern and southeast portions of the county.
In Dickinson County rainfall reports vary from .91 to just less than 2 inches of rain. Northwestern McPherson County received from .55 to 2.79 inches of moisture.
Ellsworth County reported less than .50 to 1.18 inches in eastern portions of the county.
Additional rainfall is also possible in the region. A flood warning continues until early Friday afternoon. The National Weather Service say there is slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm.
There is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 7pm on Friday.
