The Saline County Sheriff’s Office and Salina Police Department has released information concerning their enforcement results during the just completed “Click it or Ticket” campaign.

Saline County Sheriff’s deputies logged 117 hours of overtime and issued 305 seat belt violations, 3 child restraint violations, and one texting while driving citation.

Salina Police Officers worked 54.5 hours of overtime and issued 148 seat belt violations, and 5 child restraint violations.

The funding for the statewide “Click it or Ticket” is provided by the Kansas Department of Transportation.

The program was conducted between May 18th and May 31st.
