Two Salina residents were arrested Saturday afternoon after police learn they were in a pickup truck that was reported stolen in Ottawa County.

Captain Chris Trocheck said the pickup was pulled over in the area of Oakdale and Park Place about 4:00p.m. after a check of the license plate came back on a stolen vehicle.

21-year old Taylor Poague, who was driving the pickup, was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle.

A passenger, 32-year-old Jeremiah Bastin, was arrested after he was found in possession of a prescription drug Alprazolam with intent to distribute.
