Salina Police have arrested a 31-year-old man in connection with a fight last Friday night, that put a 38-year-old man in the hospital with severe head injuries.

Arnold Ray Law Jr. was booked into the Saline County Jail on charges of aggravated battery, aggravated burglary, and several warrants, including one from Nevada.

Law is alleged to have hit Jason Dalton several times in the head at a north Salina home about 11:00 p.m. Friday evening. The fight was over a woman.

Police did not learn of the fight until Sunday when Dalton sought medical help at Salina Regional Health Center, where he was still a patient Wednesday.
