A man asleep in his home early Thursday afternoon, wakes up and confronts a burglar in his home.

Police Captain Mike Sweeney said Mark Avise, who lives in the 800 block of Hancock, woke up just after 12:00 p.m. to find a man in his home.

The man left, and Avise reports he is missing a laptop computer, a computer monitor, gold chain, safe, Rolex watch and a file box.

Total loss is estimated at $745. Police are looking for a known suspect.
