Salina Police take a report of a counterfeit $20 bill passed early Friday afternoon at a convenience store. The bill was used to make a purchase at the Kwik Shop at 305 W. Schilling between 12:30 p.m. and 12:50 p.m.

A laptop computer and X-Box console and games were taken in a vehicle burglary. Nereyda Redding reports the electronics, along with a couple of backpacks, were taken from the van between Friday night and Saturday morning. Total loss is placed at $1,355.
