Seven spools of copper wire taken in burglary at the Salina Community Theater construction site.

The spools of 10 gauge and 12 gauge copper wire was taken between last Thursday evening and Friday morning from a locked construction trailer at the Salina Community Theater at 303 E. Iron. The trailer is owned by Universal Mechanical and Electrical of Topeka.

Each of the seven spools of wire contained 2500 ft of copper wire.

Loss placed at just over $3,000.
