Barbara “Joan” Dochow, 75, of Salina, died Tuesday, June 23, 2015. She was born Feb. 21, 1940, in Camden, N.J., to Roland and Helen (Fingerhut) Creely.
On Dec. 19, 1959, she married Jerry D. Dochow in Concordia. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry; daughters, Denise Arnold, of Stony Point, N.C., Carol Dochow, of Key West, Fla., and Janine Hill, of Salina; brother, George Creely, of Williamston, N.J.; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and private family services are planned.
Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina, is handling arrangements.

Edelia Ortiz, 55, of Salina, passed away Thursday, June 25th, at Salina Regional Health Center, Kansas. Edelia was born in Zacatecas, Mexico, on October 2, 1959, a daughter of the late Maria (Lopez) and Juan Lamas.
Survivors include her husband, Jorge Ortiz; son, Daniel Ortiz; and daughter Erika Lamas.
Due to the family’s request there will not be a visitation. Funeral Services will be held in the town of Calvillo in Aguascalientes, Mexico at a later date.
