A blown power transformer is blamed for several Westar customers losing power early Monday afternoon.
Westar reports that several customers in southeast Salina lost power at 1:14 p.m., when a transformer blew near the intersection of Ohio Street & Revere Drive. At least one intersection lost power to it’s traffic signals during the outage.
According to Westar, power was fully restored to the area by 2:00 p.m.
