Two people from Wichita were arrested on drug charges, after Saline County Deputies conduct a check on car parked off of I-70 late Tuesday afternoon.

Sheriff Glen Kochanowski said deputies checked on a car eastbound at milepost 240 around 5:30 p.m.

They found 35-year-old James Clark Jr, a 7-year-old boy, and 4-month-old baby boy in the car.

Clark said he had gotten into an argument with 25-year-old Teaa Ardry as they were traveling back to Wichita from a trip to Colorado.

Clark said Ardry, and her 4-year-old daughter, got out of the car and hitched a ride to the Ellsworth exit.

Deputies brought the woman and girl back to the car, and during a search, found small amounts of products containing marijuana, along with drug paraphernalia, and a open container of alcohol.

Ardry was also found to have a prescription drug that she did not have a prescription.

Both Ardry and Clark were charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and three counts of endangering a child.

Clark was also charged with driving with a suspended drivers license, and Ardry for possession of a prescription drug without a prescription.

The three children were placed into the custody of family members.
