Salina Crime Report – July 20th

crime reportA woman who let a friend borrow her car reports money is missing from the car. Adrienna Larson said she let the friend borrow the car Friday, and when she picked it up Saturday, $600 cash that had been in a small opening in the dash was missing.

A Salina woman reports the unauthorized use of her debit card number with ATM withdrawals in Texas and Mississippi on July 13th. 72-year-old Cleo Denning said she believes the information on her account may have been taken when Skimmers were placed on ATM machines at two Sunflower Bank locations earlier this month. The total amount taken in the two transactions totaled $606.

A pickup truck reported stolen in Abilene Friday, was recovered northeast of Salina, early Saturday evening. The Silverado pickup owned by Scott Leister of Abilene, was found in the 5300 block of N. Woodward Road. Leister said a tool box, a military style come along, and jumper cables were taken. The pickup is valued at $3,000, and the items stolen valued at $290.
