KANSAS CITY, MO (August 3, 2015) – The Kansas City Royals, with the KCP&L Clean Charge Network, are excited to announce the addition of five electric car charging stations in the parking lot of the Truman Sports Complex.

Located in Lot M, between Kauffman Stadium and Arrowhead Stadium, each station offers two slots allowing up to 10 vehicles to “park and plug.”  Fans will be directed by a parking attendant to the area upon request until the stations are occupied.  A Lot M parking pass is not required, and the area will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Jackson County Sports Complex Authority will pay the electrical costs for the first two years.  After that, the stations will have a pay-to-plug system.
