A woman reports to police that someone broke out two windows on her vehicle and stole her purse Friday afternoon. Carolyn Hofer of Salina said her 2005 Honda CRV was parked on the north side of the YMCA, 570 YMCA Drive, between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. There was $200 cash in the purse. Total loss and damage was placed at $600.

A 2007 Yamaha Grizzly 350 was damaged during an attempted theft Sunday morning. A white male driving a black Dodge pickup backed the pickup behind another pickup parked at the Super 8 Motel at 705 W. Schilling Road. The suspect cut ties holding the ATV in the pickup bed and moved it to his pickup. While driving away, the ATV fell out of the suspects pickup. The ATV is owned by John Scotts of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. While no damage estimate is available, the ATV is valued at $3,000.
