UPDATE:

A woman reportedly made a u-turn on east Crawford and struck a truck causing the truck to lose control and strike a van head-on. The driver of the truck was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two women were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

The county attorney is determining whether charges will be filed.

UPDATE 8:49 PM: The authorities are reporting that there was one fatality involved in the accident.

Identities of the victims have not been released.

(5:30) – A major accident has been reported just north of  the Salina Municipal Golf Course on Crawford.

At least two people were injured in a head on collision. Traffic has been shut down near the accident.
