A Salina woman reports a burglary of her home in the 700 block of Meadowbrook, where prescription drugs were taken. Angela Sams said four different types of medications were taken between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Monday, while taking her child to school. The door to the home was unlocked. Total loss is $300.

Salina Police take a report of a theft by deception, where payroll checks were forged. The checks were written on an account of Freddy’s Frozen Custard on August 28th, for a total amount of $6,564.97. The case was reported on September 16th by JRI Investments of Salina. The checking account is at Central National Bank. It is not known where the checks were written or cashed.
