A tool box, with hand tools, was stolen from the detached garage of a Salina man. Rex Parks said the theft occurred between Tuesday evening and late Wednesday afternoon at his home in the 200 block of S. 12th. Total loss is placed at $2,796.

Salina Police take another report of a counterfeit $100 bill. The Snak Atak, 1619 W. Magnolia, said the bogus bill was used to make a purchase sometime between October 4th and October 7th.
