DODGE CITY – Champions Indoor Football is proud to announce the regular season schedule for the 2016 campaign. With fierce in-state rivals squaring off and several new teams added to the mix, 2016 looks to be a remarkable year for indoor football fans in the Central United States. Twelve games will be played by each of the twelve teams for a total of 72 contests being played between late February and early June. The league has adopted a new three-round playoff system that will follow directly after.

“This is very early for the release of our schedule which should be pleasing to the teams and our fans alike. Mark your calendars for what we believe will be each of our teams best season yet!”, Interim CIF commissioner Ricky Bertz enthusiastically explained.

Expansion efforts are already underway for the 2017 season and the league hopes to announce additional teams over the coming months.

For the Salina Liberty, there will be twelve regular season games, six home and six away, plus a bonus preseason game against the Topeka Thunder. The date and time for that game has not yet been announced.
