Salina Police conducted a business compliance check Thursday evening on alcohol sales.

Of the 19 businesses check, Phil’s Liquor at 2300 Planet Avenue and Carlo’s O’Kelly’s in the Central Mall sold beer to an 18 year old girl.

The employees of the businesses were cited for the sale.

The compliance check is funded by the Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws grant.
