Studio B, Salina’s new downtown art gallery, will open for the first time this Saturday at 115 North Santa Fe.

In addition to viewing some wonderful art pieces, the public will also be able to watch artists express themselves and create their beautiful works of art.  Each of several artists from in and around Salina, already confirmed at Studio B, will have designated areas of the gallery for displaying, selling, teaching and/or demonstrating their artful talent.

Various types of art will be available for viewing or purchasing including abstracts, watercolors, mixed media, acrylics, pottery, clay, jewelry, and more.

After their initial opening this Saturday, Studio B’s regular hours will be every Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. and every second Saturday of the month.  You may also find the new art gallery open by appointment or simply by chance in the event an artist is on site creating.  Art classes for children and adults will also be available.

The public is welcome to come have their first look at Studio B this Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m. at 115 North Santa Fe, in Downtown Salina.  Very few art spaces remain unfilled at Studio B.  If you are an artist interested in displaying or consigning at Studio B, call 452-8434.
