Meth Deal Gone Bad: Salina woman’s laptop and cell phone taken when buyers unhappy with drugs

A Salina woman tells police she had a laptop computer and a cell phone taken from her apartment early Wednesday morning after a drug buy she apparently arranged, did not meet to the satisfaction of the buyers, who then wanted compensation for the money they spent on buying drugs.

The 18 year old said between 1 and 1:50 am two males came to her apartment at 2140 E. Crawford wanting to purchase methamphetamine. She left the apartment with another man to with the buyers money to bring the meth back to her apartment.

When she returned with the meth, the buyers thought they had been cheated and took the computer and phone and left her apartment.

She went to the Police Station just before 3:30 am to make the theft report. Value of the items taken is placed at $1,250.
