The City of Salina has announced the Thanksgiving holiday schedule for the City offices as well as the General Services department, including sanitation collection and the landfill.

City of Salina offices will be closed for Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 26 as well as Friday, November 27. Staff will return on Monday, November 30.

There will be no sanitation collection on Thursday, November 26. Collection on Thursday and Friday will be delayed by one day. The regular collection schedule will resume Monday, November 30.

The Household Hazardous Waste Facility will be closed Thursday, November 26. Regular operating hours are by appointment only from Monday through Wednesday and Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 7 p.m and from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Thursday and the first Saturday of each month.

The Landfill will also be closed Thursday, November 26. Regular operating hours will resume Friday, November 27. The Landfill is open from 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday.
