According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a couple from Ellinwood were injured in a two-vehicle accident on US-50 at the K-14 junction, 5 miles east of Partridge KS.

Billy W. Madden and Wanda N. Madden were southbound on K-14, pulled out from a stop sign into the route of travel of another vehicle traveling westbound on U-50.

Both were transported to Promise Regional Hospital with unspecified injuries.

The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.
