Old 81 Highway from Water Well Road to Mentor Road will be reopened to through traffic late today following completion of placement an “edge wedge” along both sides of this section of road by Saline County Road and Bridge Department crews.

The project began Thursday morning.

Saline County appreciates motorists’ patience with having to use alternate routes as this important safety project was completed.
