Police are still looking for the suspect in the robbery of a north Salina motel Saturday morning.

Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney said the suspect entered the lobby of the Day’s Inn, 407 W. Diamond Drive. around 6:20 a.m., threatened the desk clerk with pepper spray if she did not give him money. The clerk gave the suspect money.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5’9″- 6’0″, weighing between 280 – 300 pounds, wearing a black coat with the hood pulled up and jeans.

The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
