Salina Police have taken a report of theft or lost property from a jewelry store at the Salina Central Mall, 2259 S. 9th. Kay Jewelers said a woman’s 1/2 karat diamond solitude ring with a gold band disappeared from the store between 10 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. on December 23rd. The ring has a value of $1,600.

A counterfeit $1 bill has turned up in a deposit at a Salina bank. The bogus bill was found in a deposit from Generation Property Management at Bennington State Bank, 2130 S. Ohio, on December 28th.
