A counterfeit $20 bill is found in the bank deposit of the City of Salina Water Department. The bogus bill was discovered Tuesday at Sunflower Bank, 176 N. Santa Fe.

Eight wheels and tires were taken in a business burglary in north Salina. Someone used a rock to break the glass door at Brittendall Motors, 633 N. Santa Fe, between Monday evening and Tuesday morning. Total loss and damage has been estimated at $2,100.

Hand and power tools were taken in the burglary of a construction trailer parked at a job site in the 1400 block of Franklin. Brian Metzger said someone cut the lock off of the trailer sometime between December 24th and December 29th. Total loss in the case has been estimated at just over $4,000.
