The Saline County Sheriff’s Office has taken a report of damage to an unoccupied rental home in the 6800 block of E. K-4 Highway. Gary Olsen, the owner of the modular home said eight windows in the home, and two in a detached garage were broken, and paint was thrown on the the carpet in the home, and floor of the garage. The vandalism occurred between December 26th and December 27th. Total damage has been estimated at $1,550.

A Salina woman reports the theft of her car. Joy Ivan said her 2002 blue Mustang was stolen while it was parked behind a home in the 300 block of Columbia between December 29th and December 30th. Ivan believes the keys to her car were stolen from her purse. The license plate number of the vehicle is 594 ECS. The car is valued at $2,800.
